My love for travel began in childhood, riding along on road trips with my grandparents. At the time, those drives felt endless, but every stop felt magical; new foods, art, tiny dolls, monster trucks, horses, carnival rides, and experiences I had never seen before, all just a few states away.

As I grew older, that curiosity turned into a passion. I began traveling by plane, car, and bus, exploring different parts of the United States and eventually reaching all 50 states and five countries. Along the way, I learned the importance of capturing moments. I always tell people to take pictures, because photos become the memories that allow you to revisit where you’ve been.

In 2016, I started using the name #SoYouWannaTravel, sharing destinations and experiences through my photos so others could see the world through my eyes. The phrase quickly became associated with me, and by 2023 (after friends and even friends of friends began calling me by the name), I officially trademarked #SoYouWannaTravel™.

In 2024, the brand expanded with the launch of #SoYouWannaTravel™ merchandise, created to encourage others to explore, travel, and create memories of their own. This website is an extension of that mission; a space for inspiration, storytelling, and apparel designed to remind family and friends that the world is meant to be seen.
